Since the thing did quite well, I had promised a sequel that would tie up some of the knots that happened due to the deadline I had to create the thing. Sadly I won't be making a direct sequel to it, nothing that will bring back any of the existing characters, but I have been working on a new project that takes the same world and atmosphere.

This time I have all the time in the world, no deadline, so I can spend as much time as I want creating the animation. I don't have much to show so far, in terms of full scenes, but I do have some screenshots of some characters and various character animations. Anyway, keep an eye here as I'm hoping to post a few updates as time goes on and the animation progresses. Hope there is at least one person as excited about this new thing as I am.

Grapplingun - Life One

AS3 is confusing the hell out of me, I tried programming a few years back in Flash 8 using AS2 and the idea was simple enough. Trying to get my head around coding separately inside classes and I'm trying to get my head around what everything means. I wish I didn't suck so much at math.

I'm reading "Flash Game Development by Example" and even most of that is going straight over my head. Any suggestions for a complete and utter beginner at programming? I have a few ideas for games and I'd like to start developing them in the future.
